Mindful Connections Mental Health, LLC is a small but energetic mental health practice providing individual, couples, and family counseling to the Colorado Springs community and surrounding areas. We were established in 2012 in Castle Rock, Colorado. As we grew, we moved to the Colorado Springs location and began providing both in person and distance services to the surrounding communities.
Mindful Connections' mission is to provide quality, culturally competent mental health care and psychological services through methods and techniques that promote increased accessibility to clients, decreased stigmatization of mental health, and primary focus on the unique needs of clients as a whole. As such, we strive to provide a variety of mental health counseling and psychological services to individuals, couples, families, and groups through employment of professionals who hold diverse personal and professional backgrounds. Our professionals are dedicated to the contribution of accessible services through knowledge and experience with multiple platforms for service provision as well as consideration for financial and scheduling needs. No matter the method of delivery, services are performed in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment that encourages a reduction and elimination of the stigmatization of mental health treatment while focusing on a collaborative and flexible approaches to treatment that recognize the needs of the client rather than a one-size-fits all style of care.
Join an established and growing mental health practice! Mindful Connections Mental Health, LLC (MCMH) is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, licensed part-time or full-time mental health counselor, to provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and/or families. MCMH currently employs four clinicians and contracts two additional clinicians with varying academic and professional backgrounds. We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, hardworking individual whose approach to counseling compliments the vision and already established services we provide.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to Practice in Colorado (MFT, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist). If you are seeking pre-licensed, practicum/internship opportunities please contact us directly and do not apply to this position.
- Minimum 2-years' experience in counseling or related field (May include Pre-Degree internship experience)*
- Ability to demonstrate aspirational level ethical standards through work with clients and other professionals.
- Highly Motivated to start and build client caseload.
- Credentialed or willing to be credentialed with insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tele-mental Health training or experience a plus.
- Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, United, Aetna, Cigna and/or Medicaid Credentialed a plus.
- Interested and dedicated to building clientele to full-time status a plus.
Job Requirements
- Part-time or Full-time, as needed position (as needed is based on professional's caseload). Employees determine their own weekly schedule within the confines of available office space. They are given the freedom to determine when the work so long as they are maintaining the company's minimum weekly caseload requirement and striving to exceed it.
- Provide Counseling and other psychological services to individuals, couples, and/or families from preferred counseling modality and within the professional and academic scope of practice. Employees are encouraged to work from the modality and techniques they most identify with and are given the freedom to do so as long as they are legal, ethical, and are within the employee's scope of practice. As such, the company refrains from cold-assigning clients to employees. Employees are given the freedom to determine comfortability, therapeutic fit, and appropriateness of practice when taking on new clients and maintaining them.
- Maintain practice policy and uphold state standards and federal law. The company uploads a high level of ethical standards and legal responsibilities. Employees of the company are required to uphold the same standard of care and professionalism.
- Maintain documentation appropriate to work with clients. Employees are expected to maintain appropriate documentation to the standard of the field, ethical and legal requirements, insurance requirements, and the company's policy for timeliness, structure, and caliber.
- Contribute to the process of obtaining and maintaining clientele through some self-marketing and contribution to established marketing practices such a blog posts, social media, websites and community outreach. The company will provide marketing, networking, and referrals to employees. However, employees are encouraged to engage in additional networking with internal employees as well as external professionals for the purpose of self-promotion. Employees will also be encouraged to contribute to company social media activity, monthly newsletters, and other marketing events.
- Where applicable, assist in intake, scheduling, and reception or office maintenance responsibilities Employees are expected to maintain a high caliber of professionalism while working with clients and engaging with potential clients. They may be asked to participate in intakes, client greetings, etc. at times. Employees are expected to assist in the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of the office space while in use.
