Shelly Sieligowski is a Licensed Social Worker completing the necessary requirements toward her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential at Mindful Connections Mental Health in Colorado Springs. She currently works under clinical supervision while completing her advanced hours.
Shelly believes that therapy is more than simply managing symptoms; it is a profound opportunity to explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that shape how individuals understand themselves and navigate the world. She approaches every session with deep curiosity, compassion, and a core belief that meaningful change begins when a person feels truly understood, accepted, and empowered.
Her therapeutic approach is inherently trauma-informed, person-centered, and deeply rooted in psychodynamic theory. She recognizes that past experiences, attachment relationships, and unconscious patterns heavily influence present-day emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
Through a collaborative, secure therapeutic relationship, Shelly helps clients develop greater self-awareness, safely explore difficult emotions, challenge internalized beliefs, and create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Shelly tailors her care to each client's unique experiences, needs, and personal goals. She thoughtfully integrates a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including:
